Salt Block
Today went pretty good out at Leroy's place. I got to use my new bridge so I could carry a bunch more cat food up to the tack room and then put out the 50 lb salt block, its been sitting in the garage for about two weeks since I got it. It might have been hard if I had to get it all over the ditch by throwing it or something, but with the wheel barrow and the bridge, it was quick work. Baby enjoyed it, and licked it for about ten minutes, and then Spring came over after trying to kick the other block to make it work, and enjoyed it as well. Thunder was loitering around the stalls after the others left so he could pick up some missed grain, but those horses lick their bowls clean and then some. Tonight Baby and Brownie were actually galloping along the side of the house, from the corral, and down to about the middle of the front field. They looked like they could have cowboys on their backs being chased by indians. It was good to see Brownie doing so well, but then it was about 75 degrees and a perfect sunny day. It may rain soon but I don't mind it as much if its not in the twenties, and its not expected to be this week. I haven't heard any more about how Leroy is doing since mother got back from L.R. on Sunday, but no news seems to be good news.
