The Spoon
This morning was the second time that a spoon went missing in the tack room. The first time it happened, I decided that someone had taken it, but this time I knew no one had been in the room except me since the snow. A varment must be in there somewhere. One day an empty can of cat food was on the floor, and another day an empty water bottle had been knocked off the window sill, and today the spoon came up missing. I left it on a paper towel on a small shelf and both were missing. I found it finally on the floor behind the anvil after I moved the shelf. I guess I need to buy a rat trap of some sort soon.
I unloaded the wheel barrow of its logs and moved the bridge that Ryan built, so its in there now over the ditch. That was one heavy bridge, and wheeling it on the grass from the front yard to the corral was no fun. Lifting it onto the wheelbarrow was a challenge with Petey standing on it begging to be petted, but I finally made it and its overwith now. Every thing else went okay though. The horses were waiting in the corral for me when I got there, the cats were waiting, then they ate, and left. It was pretty pleasant today with the sun and about 45 degrees and tomorrow should be even nicer. Soon I may even shovel the doodoo out of the front of the stables so I don't have to dance my way there anymore...I think I will have to contemplate that more though.
